The
cover of these books is modeled after a trade book design from the
early 20th century. Printed via letterpress in three colors that
exemplify the time period and style of the age — gold, green
and a light blue though the gold does not relate well digitally. The
covers are hand made papers with full deckle edges, the green is
Twinrocker Sagebrush and the browns are made by St. Armand, these
papers have a lovely surface texture and heavy weight.
Inside are 80 pages of Strathmore Pastelle, a white surface that is quite opaque which allows its use with many drawing and writing medias. The books are bound in a coptic loop stitch structure which allows them to open fully and lie flat. 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches, limited cover edition of 100 with much of this information printed on the inside back cover. $25.00 |
The open area in the design can be imprinted in ink or foils to personalize the book for an additional charge of $15.00 Options for foiling include: Gold, Silver, Copper, matching green or blue, grey, metalic green or blue.
