The book "Tree"

Coptic loop stitch with attached cover boards of aromatic cedar covered in amate bark paper with a title of engraved copper. This was the first editioned book by Chad Pastotnik before he founded Deep Wood Press.  Back in the late 80's he had a body of artwork that culminated in a BFA degree in Printmaking. Being small and intimate in nature the idea of putting the printwork into book form sparked the desire to pursue letterpress printing and the book arts.
